Summer Science Outreach Series at Atlanta Children’s Shelter

July 2024

Volunteered at Atlanta Children’s Shelter’s Summer Science Outreach Series on July 22. Led preschoolers through exciting paper chromatography and invisible ink experiments. Witnessing their joy in revealing hidden messages and observing color separation was truly rewarding. This experience highlighted the power of early STEM education in fostering curiosity and critical thinking, especially for children facing challenges like homelessness. It was inspiring to contribute to ACS’s mission of breaking the poverty cycle through education. This opportunity reinforced the impact of community engagement and motivated me to further support STEM education in underserved communities.
